01. Dressing Inappropriately:

When you’re going for a job interview it’s important for you to dress in a professional manner. You cannot wear shorts or any casual clothing. You must wear a dress pant with the dress shirt. A tie is necessary and your shoes must be polished. You must be having a good perfume fragrance. Your first impression must be attractive. Your attire must be decent and good looking. No matter for what post you are applying for. Your outlook will help you to get the job opportunity. You can also add accessories to your outfit. A decent watch can add an extra glimpse to your personality moreover it will also help you to reach on time. Try to have a good color scheme of your dress. Use a matching tie with your pants or shirt. All these things will enhance your look and your perfect look will enhance your confidence level. 02. Arriving Late For Interview:

A lot of people make this mistake of arriving late for a job interview. This is an unbearable mistake and can’t be ignored by anyone. Whenever you have a job interview you have to arrive early. Time depends on the location of your interview. Try to reach 20 minutes before the interview start. In this way, you can notice the environment of this office and can also relax for few minutes. Arriving early will also help you to make your mind and prepare yourself for the job interview. If you want to have your breakfast then have it in your car or on the train you’re traveling by. But never bring your breakfast to the office. It looks very unprofessional to enter an office with a cup of coffee in your hand. A lot of people think that it helps them to fuel up and boost their energy. Remember that energy can be boosted at home as well. Moreover while having a cup of coffee you can also distract your attention. You cannot have eye contact while giving the interview and your employer will think that you’re least interested in the job opportunity.

 

04. Never Use Your Mobile Phone:

A lot of people go for a job interview with their mobile phone on voice mode. Never does this mistake else you’re going to ruin your interview. Your mobile phone must be switched off and must be in your pocket or purse. Never keep your mobile in your hand. If you can’t switch off your mobile phone then keep it on the silent mode so that it may not disturb you while you’re giving the interview. Never text while giving an interview. A lot of people are habitual of texting all the time. If you will text while giving an interview then it will look unprofessional. Remember that getting the job must be your priority and you cannot make any blunder to let go your priority from your hands.

 

05. Having No Idea About the company:

Another most common mistake is that you are going to give an interview and have no idea about the company. Don’t let the employer reject you by asking that do you have an idea about this company? You must do research on the company and its projects. Moreover, you must have an idea about its working and famous projects they are working on. A little bit research can also help you to answer questions in the interview. Never go blank without doing any research. You can also take the information and have a print out so that you can read it at the last moment and have fresh information about the company in your mind.

 

06. Not Paying Attention:

A lot of people have ignorant behavior while giving the interview. You have to be attentive and must pay full attention to the employer so that you can answer all the questions easily. Keep nodding when the employer is explaining to you so that he may feel that you are attentive. If you will not pay attention and will be ignorant then you will never be selected for the job. Paying attention is necessary.
